There is something inside every believer that longs to grow — to move forward — to become more like Jesus. And yet, there is also something in us that resists change, clings to comfort, and gets easily discouraged. The Christian life is not static. It is not a museum where we admire what God once did. It is a journey, a race, a pursuit. In this message we learn this lesson: To make spiritual progress we are invited to add choice and effort to God’s work of change in us. God does the changing — but He invites us to cooperate.
